Most of our party rental products are custom and hand-made here in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, with the goal of providing high quality birthday party rental items that look great from afar and even better up close (no Styrofoam or flimsy cardboard here)! Our hand crafted products and decor is designed to last (they are made by a Red Seal Certified carpenter after all!), not only so that you can celebrate in style with premium products, but also to ensure that we are doing our part to reduce waste where we can, something we pride ourselves on in an industry that can get a little carried away with one-time use.

Jasmine
Marketer by trade, I never thought of myself as a party expert to begin with.
I've spent the last 10 years fine tuning skills like project management, visual design, communication, messaging and branding and never looked too far away from the advertising world until I found myself planning my sons first birthday.
I walked into the venue on the day of the party and overheard a guest say to their family "These two really know how to throw a party", and it dawned on me, with the help of my husband Damon, we had actually done a pretty fantastic job.
Turns out those skills of mine, plus his, which you can read about below, actually turn us into a 'dream team' of bringing imagination to life, and that's what we strive for with every party we support and every theme we plan out.

As a A Red Seal carpenter, and even long before, Jasmine has been keeping my weekends busy with new furniture and builds for our home. These skills came in equally valuably for the planning of our sons first birthday where I made a range of party items.
Afterwards, I had gone back to planning out the next house I would be building when Jasmine brought me plans for a house of a different kind - A Castle.
One 8 Foot princess castle and a 7 Foot seashell and the rest is history.

What Does Wow-Factor Means to us
When my son started saying ‘WOW” it was the most magical thing I’ve ever experienced.
His absolute wonder over new experiences was incredible. He would say WOW if we walked in to find a new toy on the table, WOW if he opened a box and there was something hidden in it, WOW if a sticker stuck to his arm, WOW WOW WOW as we walked through a pet store looking at the fish.
We lose that as we turn into adults, things become less “WOW-worthy”, we become harder to WOW.
But there’s something so special, so magical about WOW, because it encompasses so much wonder and joy in it, we really do need to say it more, and we do need to hear it more too… luckily we have our kids for that, to bring back the WOW when we maybe haven’t had it visit too frequently, or when we’ve forgotten how WOW-worthy the little things in life really are.
That’s why bringing the WOW to a party is at the core of our mission at SEQUIN SKY.
Because WOWs are so incredibly special and so necessary!
